The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
